Missed Girlfriends & Mood Boards

Nicky & Lyan made time for me yesternight. I appreciate it 'cause they were able to squeeze me in to their very hectic schedule. (If you know them and you're updated, you would laugh hard like I'm doing now).

We met for dinner at Cafe Lidia -- my favorite hang-out place in town which actually offers good food and amazing chocolate cakes, too! It was their first while it was my nth time to visit this restaurant which is easily hidden along the stretch of the residential area that is Calderon St. in Calumpang, Marikina City. Anyway, below is a rundown of the food we ordered.

If you have not been there yet, you're missing so much! Google them now and pay them a visit! I promise you would love me forever for convincing you. Lol. You need not worry if you are bringing a car though because they now have a parking space located just on the other side of the street.

Anyway, the purpose of our get together was to discuss (or more of brainstorm) the supposedly mood board of my upcoming wedding. I'm so pleased that despite the fact that wedding is only about 3 months from now, we are still able to maintain a calm and panic-free facade. "Grace under pressure" at its best. Nicky was the persistent one. The hidden wedding coordinator slash event stylist in her couldn't help but to make pakialam in my wedding plans. And don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining  I actually consider them as blessings. I thank the Lord for giving me friends who are willing to give a hand and invest their precious time for this once in a lifetime season of celebration.

Yes, I'm a w@wie and this booklet is a must have

It was a rather productive night for us as we were able to conceptualize well. If you're wondering, NO, I'm not going to share what we have discussed yet. I want to at least leave my guest guessing until the wedding day itself. One thing I can promise, this isn't your ordinary wedding.

What can I say? Can't wait to make them DIYs. Time for me to stretch them artsy hands.

xoxo

  1. DIY weddings are the most memorable and sweet. I love weddings in particular. If I were to get married again, I guess I'll DIY again as much as I can.

  2. Nice! Good luck on planning the wedding hope it goes well. 3 months is a short time, indeed grace under pressure.

Btw, the salad looks yummy. :)
