Bag of Beans: A Weekend in Tagaytay

The weekend after our honeymoon in the Northern Philippines, the husband and I were out-of-towners again with our spiritual family this time. The gang celebrated Yam & Ghea's 25th birthday at the latter's Cavite residence which was a 5-minute drive from Tagaytay. Though a lot of things took place during this particular weekend, the best part might have been the afternoon spent in Bag of Beans, the photo blog of which you'll see below.

What I like most about leaving Manila is the green scenery that never fails to de-stress me.

It was not the best sun shiny day for us nonetheless we were all in high spirits.
The low temperature and the peace & quiet might have helped.

Seeing their menu, I thought the pancakes were pricey
only to be proven wrong upon seeing how big the serving
was. My big man, with all his might, failed to finish
these Chocolate Chips pancakes.

I got myself this Coffee Choco Banana Frost.
I must say, whatever amount of stomach pain
I got later that day for taking in coffee was all
worth it. This was delish!

The outside ambiance. Too bad phone camera couldn't capture how glorious the interiors were.

On our way back to Manila, we passed by their smaller branch which overlooks the lake. I may not be a big fan of coffee but I'm definitely going back here to also experience their buffet and other mouth-watering dishes savored inside their little intimate and romantically-themed cabanas.

    1. Indeed! It's the closest laid back town outside Manila that offers fresh and cooler air :)

    1. I've been to Baguio and I should say there's a huge difference in the temperature. Tagaytay can be just cool, Baguio can be chilly. Although it also depends on the season of visit :)
