Kopiko Low Acid Coffee

For someone who has missed coffee a lot due to a gastric condition, it's a breath of fresh air being able to reunite with its taste and aroma. Glad to discover Kopiko's Low Acid Coffee.
Millions of Filipinos drink coffee every day. In fact, it is estimated that 8 out of 10 Pinoys drink at least 2 cups of coffee daily, whether they are piping hot or iced cold. So what are the benefits of drinking coffee?
Aside from perking up lazy mornings and sleepy afternoons, various studies reveal that drinking coffee in moderation helps reduce the risks for type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, heart and cardiovascular diseases, stroke and cancers of the liver, kidney and prostate.
But while most Filipinos enjoy cup after cup of stimulating coffee, some cut back on their brew because it hurts their stomach and they cannot tolerate drinking more than a cup every day.
As for my personal case, I just couldn't drink it anymore. Not even a single gulp because it was like taking in acid and I tend to feel the discomfort its landing on my stomach brings.
To help drinkers with stomach sensitivities enjoy more cups of coffee, Kopiko, the coffee specialist, introduces Kopiko L.A. Coffee – the first low-acid coffee mix in the Philippines.
"Kopiko L.A. Coffee is made from selected grade one coffee beans that undergo a controlled roasting process to reduce its acidity and make it smooth and stomach-friendly – ideal for coffee lovers who have sour stomach."
“We are very excited to launch L.A. Coffee, the latest innovation from Kopiko. Its robust coffee aroma, light blend, creamy taste and low acid level make Kopiko L.A. Coffee a healthier choice,” said Michael Tandas, Kopiko brand manager.
Kopiko L.A. Coffee is available at all leading groceries and supermarkets nationwide at only Php6.00 per sachet. It is manufactured by PT Mayora and distributed by TriDharma Marketing Corporation.

  1. I still haven't seen it here in Batangas. The first time you wrote about it, I looked up TriDharma for product info but it seems the site is either not updated or it still not yet officially released since it wasn't there. Still not there btw as of this moment. :p

  2. I keep searching, but Kopiko another low acid bust - doesn't taste like real coffee and not sure it helps my stomach. I may have found one that tastes good and is good on my stomach, don't want to do a commercial here - so you can email me and I will let you know.

    1. I still don't suggest you take it regularly and excessively though. :) Let's not push our tummy's limit.
