Not so fast, 2014.

We're halfway done with January 2014. Wait...what? I haven't even shared with you yet how insane my break up with 2013 was! Oh well.. time flies, I guess?

I won't even launch this blog-year with a post on my New Year Resolutions, Personal Goals, etc. I'm gonna save you another annoying cliche on your feed. Instead, I'll be sharing with you an organizing system which I discovered during the long break. Watch the video and see if this could be of help to you, planner/organizer-geeks like myself. I'm already doing this and yuhh it's fun to finally have a system when you only have a notebook and a pen. (I have long since stopped buying a planner as I find the preset lines and dates and inserts unhelpful.)

Have an amazing year ahead!

DIY Wedding Invites: The Finale

Just to update my avid followers (yehess naman, like I have a lot hehe), I'm finally done with all the invites! Woohoo! I have already sent some away while the others are still to be sent within the week. Hopefully we're done giving them out next week, at the latest. Based on the feedback I got from a couple of lovely followers on the previous DIY post, this was a pretty amazing idea and I pretty much was able to execute it well. Thanks to them, I kinda feel encouraged now that these invites will also be appreciated by my guests. Though I don't deny the possibility that some of them might bash my hand writing or my face on the picture haha! Me can't please everyone. No one can. And that's fine.

DIY Wedding Invitations

I have not exactly been discreet about my wedding preparation. If you have been reading my posts, you are one of those in the know of this little DIY endeavor of mine.

Just to share with you lovely fellas, one of the things that really keep me busy lately is DIY-ing our wedding invites. Boy has it become a nightly thing. As in I am this close to getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome due to excessive Photoshopping (yehesss! as if I'm an expert. which obviously I'm not because otherwise I should have gotten things done fast and won't have to be lingering on PS for weeks now! Lol.) while right hand also gets shaky and sweaty at times due to so much handwriting (eew!) Aside from that I am the most frugal bride you'll ever meet, I also aim to make things a little personalized here so yes, this is so me to DIY things. (Note to self: future blog entry on all my other DIYs)

Missed Girlfriends & Mood Boards

Nicky & Lyan made time for me yesternight. I appreciate it 'cause they were able to squeeze me in to their very hectic schedule. (If you know them and you're updated, you would laugh hard like I'm doing now).

We met for dinner at Cafe Lidia -- my favorite hang-out place in town which actually offers good food and amazing chocolate cakes, too! It was their first while it was my nth time to visit this restaurant which is easily hidden along the stretch of the residential area that is Calderon St. in Calumpang, Marikina City. Anyway, below is a rundown of the food we ordered.
